The Challenge:

Modernized the front-end for a high-traffic online magazine (30M+ monthly users) from an older PHP Symfony platform facing performance and scalability issues.

Our Solution:

Rebuilt the front-end with Next.js (Pages Router), leveraging the WordPress REST API for content, to deliver a fast, scalable, and SEO-friendly experience.

Role & Impact:

As the primary developer, I built the entire responsive front-end, integrating with the WordPress REST API and optimizing performance and SEO for a massive audience. Working with a designer, I translated designs into functional code, creating a significantly faster and more engaging platform. This modernization improved maintainability and supports the magazine's continued growth and reach.
